What identification do I need to vote?If you are on the voters list...If you are on the voters' list and wish to vote, you must show identification confirming your identity and place of residence in order to receive a ballot. Photo ID is not required. A list of acceptable identification will be available in early 2010. Check back here - we will be updating this page with that information. What if I am on the voters list but do not have identification when I arrive to vote?If you are on the voters' list but do not have acceptable identification, you may make a statutory declaration (sign a paper swearing) that you are the person on the voters' list in order to receive a ballot. What if I am not on the voters list?If you are not on the voters' list - you must follow the procedures put in place by the clerk to get on the list. These procedures may require you to show identification. You may contact either the municipal clerk or our campaign to obtain assistance in getting on the voters list.
